Permanent Residence (PR) Card Renewal

Now that you are here in Canada, it s important to remember that along with the privileges you enjoy, you have responsibilities to keep.

Once you land, you will be granted a PR card. Now what happens if the PR card gets lost, expired or stolen? Even when any of this happens, it doesn’t mean you lose your status. To retain your permanent resident status, you must be in Canada for at least 730 days during the last five years. These 730 days don’t need to be continuous. Some of your time abroad may count towards the 730 days. If you meet all the requirements and there are no prohibitions on your case, then you proceed with the renewal.

If you need assistance on PERMANENT RESIDENCE CARD RENEWAL, BIG LEAP IMMIGRATION SUPPORT AND SERVICES is here TO HELP you.
